History

we met at the Canberra Heart Foundation D&D Ball on 16th February 2002 and got married the same date, 6 years later!

Wedding theme

I wore red and the groom dressed in grey/silver.  We asked the guests to wear black and/or white.  It looked great in the photos.

 

Preparation

Flowers

Lou from A Bloom A Day was brilliant!  She sat down with my mum and I for a good 45mins and discussed bouquet shapes (who would have thought?).  The bouquets where just gorgeous, she did a really good job.

 

Make-up

Airbrush Makeup did a wonderful job.  The make-up lasted all day and I was very pleased with the result.

 

Reception venue

The staff at Shaws were fantastic. Their service was outstanding, as they kept everyone’s glasses full and we received lots of positive comments about the food.

 

Transport

Domonic from Ace Limousines was really helpful.   We were driven out to Murrumbateman once for the groom and again for the bride – and he took in all in with a smile.
