History: We met on myspace. Started off as friends talking online for hours on end. Met up and hit it off straight away. Got engaged 9 months after meeting each other.

Proposal: Richard took me to dinner at Thai in Belconnen, followed by a drive to Mt Ainslie. I went to take my camera out of my handbag up at Mt Ainslie and there was a ring box hidden in my handbag.  On the way home we were pulled over for an RBT. Luckily I hadn’t been drinking champagne to celebrate until we got home.

Wedding theme: Modern with Pink and Black

Preparation: 12 months. Lots of ideas and small items that made up the day were from the internet.

Angelic Inspirations – had a great selection of dresses, different styles, fabrics and sizes. Made me feel comfortable and are friendly. Were very dedicated to ensuring the dress was the one and Jill and Dani were fantastic to deal with the entire time. Can’t fault anything.

Bentley’s Hair Studio – Sarah and her team are fantastic. Having a hair studio to ourselves on the day with the bridal party was great. Napolean make-up was fantastic. Sarah does modern style and made sure we were all happy on the day. It was lots of fun having our hair done. My hair stayed in all night until the next day. It was just fabulous.

Mantra on Northbourne – Was a fantastic venue and the convenience of being in a hotel was just great. All of my family is from Qld so it meant the guests could stay there. The service was fabulous and the food tasted fantastic. They are reasonably priced and in such a convenient location. The staff ensured we were all well looked after.

First Class Chauffeured – The cars were really comfortable and looked fantastic. Both the drivers were fantastic and friendly. Whilst on photo location they set up a table with drinks and nibbles which was just what we needed. The added touch that I was impressed with was the spray bottle in the boot of the car to freshen up the flowers.
