Your ceremony may be held in the Senate or House of Representatives Courtyard or the surrounding rose gardens of Old Parliament House.

As part of your reception booking, we offer a complimentary wet weather back-up for your ceremony so you can rest assured that you have a contingency plan for your special day.

After the ceremony you may choose for your guests to enjoy drinks in the Old Members’ Bar or take a private tour of Old Parliament House whilst you are being photographed. We will greet you and your bridal party at the front of Old Parliament House and guide you through King’s Hall offering the perfect photo opportunity.

You and your bridal party may choose to take some time out in your own private bridal room before joining your guests in the Members’ Dining Room.  We offer a wonderful variety of fine cuisine with an alternate selection for all three courses at no extra charge.

It received the Caterer of the Year title at the Restaurant and Catering Awards For Excellence in the ACT/Southern Region in 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009, as well as Wedding and Venue Caterer in 2011. Ginger Catering also took out the ACT title for the Canberra and Capital Region Tourism Awards 2008, 2009 and 2010, Winner Tourism Restaurants and Catering Services.
